NSBE Mission

The mission of the National Society of Black Engineers is "to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community."

Group Activities

NSBE builds leaders both inside and outside of school. Our programs fall under some of the following categories:
  • Academic Excellence: bringing in several companies to come and speak about potential job opportunities.
  • Pre-College Initiative: working with middle and high school students to teach them about STEM fields.
  • Community Outreach: tutoring the Charlottesville community students as well as annual community programs.
