Okrakwadwo Project
The objective of the NSBE at UVA annual initiative is to further the mission of NSBE through service to a specific community. This year's initiative is to focus on increasing access to resources for STEM education and assist the community of Okrakwadwo with remodeling and restoring the community hospital. To achieve this objective, various resources for the community are to be provided.
With this initiative, the Okrakwadwo Project Committee hopes to increase the number of culturally black engineers who excel academically, and positively impact their community. There are two main phases to the initiative. Phase 1 focuses on providing resources for the school while phase 2 focuses on providing resources mainly for the hospital. Below are the resources needed for the first phase of the initiative:
